New Physical Therapist Position for OP/Manual Focused clinic

Physical therapists are overworked and underpaid. They often see too many patients in a day, work long hours, and are constantly pressured to hit their metrics. This can be incredibly frustrating and lead to burnout and frustration. We believe that physical therapists should be able to focus on their patients without having to worry about these things. Hi, I am Trevor Ling of Peak Potential Physiotherapy & Wellness. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about our story.

Much like you, my wife, Amanda, and I always had an overwhelming passion for helping people feel relief from pain and become the best version of themselves. To see a patient recover and get back to doing what they love, to have Movement Without Pain, and to say to you “Thank you for being my solution” is a true blessing and is why we decided to go into this field 20 years ago.

However, throughout the years, we heard multiple, multiple stories of people who were in pain or believed they had tried everything, but where still not experiencing the results or transformation they desired.

I can only think of the multitude of reasons why so many have had such a poor experiences. Those physical therapists were probably seeing too many patients per day, they weren’t able to provide the care that they wanted to give each patient and weren’t making the impact that they had dreamed of when becoming physical therapists.

I remember coming home late and being so frustrated of the care I saw and heard people getting that Amanda could read it on my face and in my body language. 

It was almost to the point where I was wondering if physical therapy was really the career for me.

Don't get me wrong I learned a ton during the experiences I had, but I wanted to make sure whatever we created was to "Be Different".

So, we started our own "project", at least that's what we called it.

Now 8 years ago, we decided to open our own practice with the goal of providing one-on-one care to patients and really getting to know them, their goals, and who they were. We decided to be an integrative clinic, collaborating and bringing all different types of disciplines together to treat our clients.  So they new they were people and not just patients. We wanted to help our patients overcome health hurdles getting back to the activities they love with confidence and without pain. We wanted to create an environment where growth and improvement are at the forefront of what we practice - where we truly believe in getting our patients real results with real rehab with real people. 

Since opening our doors, we have been fortunate enough to grow and have amazing team members, and hear time and time again from our patients that we are “their solution”. That we got to their "root cause" and gave them back their confidence.

We are now looking for a new full-time physical therapist to join our team.

Over the past 8 years, we have been able to help Tens of 1000s of local residents.

Though patient volume, number of new patients, and gross revenue may have their place… 

The key “metrics” will never be more important than our customer experience and satisfaction as well as the retention rates of our team.

And for that, we are blessed to have such a great team.
